Dr. Megan Patrick is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner offering integrative and conventional psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Patrick has practiced traditional psychiatric medication management since 2014. Inspired by a interest in functional medicine and a desire to offer more treatment options to her patients, in early 2022 she began practicing integrative psychiatry; an approach that prioritizes individualized treatments and looks for the root cause of patient symptoms. Dr. Patrick is currently an Integrative Psychiatry Fellow through Psychiatry Redefined under the supervision of Dr. James Greenblatt, a pioneering physician in the field. At this time Dr. Patrick is accepting patients age 5 and up.

Dr. Patrick received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Practice from the University of Iowa in 2013. She then went on to complete her Post-Doctoral Certificate for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2014. She is registered with the Iowa Board of Nursing, the Iowa Board of Pharmacy and credentialed through the ANCC. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she worked as a Labor and Delivery RN for 6 years.

Dr. Patrick is a strong advocate for work/life balance and gives priority to her roles as a wife and mother of two daughters. Free time is often spent caring for their riverside home in NE Iowa while trying to fish, kayak, bike and camp as much as possible.
